Photo: Hyacinth Macaws at the Vancouver Aquarium

I always love to see the two Hyacinth Macaws at the Vancouver Aquarium.  They are loud, colorful, and always active.  In this shot it looks like they are good buddies.

I came across this interesting natural sand sculpture at a Vancouver beach.  It kept changing as sand and water ran down, very mesmerizing and beautiful.

American Pitbull Terrier - High Resolution Photo

Photo: Pitbull for adoption

I volunteer at Vancouver Animal Control to take photos of dogs available for adoption.  I hope the quality of the photos increases the dogs changes of getting adopted.  It is a lot of fun and very rewarding as well.   This 'cow patch'  pitbull was a big softie.

Queen Elizabeth Park

Photo: Fall Colours in Vancouver

This scene was so full of colour it almost hurt my eyes :)  The fall leaves had fallen into the pond but some of the plants were still a lush green.  The HDR photo brought out the full dynamic range of the scene.

Photo: Wreck of the Naked Lady

Not all of my photos are above the water.  Since I'm an avid scuba diver, I also take photos under the water, like this shot of a sailboat off the coast of Maui, Hawaii.
